Here are examples of lesson materials.

Here you will find notes and homework, as well as templates for sending letters home to parents, which I used in my first student teaching placement. The guided notes and homework show the planning and preparation that go into my lessons. Wilson High School is one-to-one, so I was able to utilize the fact that they had Chromebooks in class. I made sure to include relevant videos in the online notes that they would refer to during the lesson.

The letters home show the professional manner in which I handle the students who are struggling in my class. These letters inform the parents of how well the student is performing in class. The students were to bring the letters home, and return the letter signed by a parent or guardian. If they did not, they received a detention. I take parent involvement very seriously.

Here you will find a Google Drive folder containing all of my Promethean Smartboard Flipcharts from my first placement of student teaching. In order to download/view these flipcharts, you must have ActivInspire software.

Here is a clip that showcases my instructional abilities. I had the pleasure of video taping this lesson for my professional seminar. The lesson presented samples of integration being used in the real world. The video starts with me taking care of some house cleaning because we had just come from two snow days. Then, I take an "I do, we do, you do" approach. I led an example, then we worked on an example together, and ended with the students doing the rest of the examples in groups.
