Below are a few samples that show how much my students appreciate their work and their classroom. The first image is a collage of slides from Google Presentations the students made for a Calculus project on finding connections between graphs of a function and its first and second derivatives. The second image is a cupcake one group of students made for my last day at that placement. I am proud to say that my students respected their classroom, their own work, and their teacher.

These next images showcase projects turned in by my Geometry students from my second student teaching placement. After a chapter on transformations (reflection, translation, and rotation), I had my students create levels of Pac-Man using different shapes and by rotating, reflecting, and translating them. I asked the students for feedback on this project, and it was a unanimous positive response. The students said that they never get to use their creativity in math class, so I was happy to change that.
